In Case You Missed It: Notes from Our March Business Meeting

Below are some notes and pictures from our Business Meeting on March 03, 2023.

Worthy State Treasurer, Mike Felerski, attended our meeting and addressed the Council. He also supplied the refreshments after the meeting. Thank you Worthy Brother Mike!

Veterans Day Collection – Thank You!

The K of C Elder Council 1195 graciously thanks the parishioners of St. Gertrude Church for their generous contribution to the Veterans Day Collection.

Parishioners donated 18 bags and boxes of personal items, toiletries, stationary products, puzzles, and detergent. They also gave $1,470.00 in cash and checks and $100.00 in gift cards.

All items and monies go directly to the veterans in the Cincinnati area, who are most appreciative.

Thank you for showing your gratitude to our veterans for all they have done for the United States of America.

Abp. Elder Christmas Party!!!

The Elder Council Christmas Party will be on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Ferrari’s Little Italy, beginning with a social at 6:00 pm and dinner at 7:00 pm.

The cost is $30.00 per person. All children 12 years of age and under will be guests of the Council.

Family is one of the Four Pillars of the Knights of Columbus. What better way than to have a get-together where we celebrate our own families.

Please RSVP by no later than December 15, 2022, to our heralded Elf, Worthy Brother Kevin Graham. [email protected] or 513-703-5251. You do not have to RSVP if you signed up at the Business Meeting on Thursday evening. See the attached flyer.

Please bring your family and celebrate Christmas with your Brother Knights and their families.

Bring a wrapped gift for the White Elephant Auction. Gifts can be a regift, a gag gift, a gift that’s funny and useful, etc. The fun is in the bidding, the stealing, the bartering, and the re-swapping, as Brother Jonathan stirs the pot!
