The First Into the Breach Session

Fr. George Schommer, O.P. leads the men in prayer.

The first session of the Into the Breach session was held Saturday, July 10, 2021. We had a great turnout and it was so good to for everyone to meet together in-person. Today’s topic was Masculinity – something that is sorely needed, and often misunderstood. The session began with prayer, an introduction, a brief video presentation, a great speech given by Chris Nachtrab, and a fruitful breakout into small groups. If you were interested in attending, but could not make it today, no worries! Feel free to attend another session – and bring friend! This is a collaboration between the Catholic Men’s Fellowship and the Abp. Elder Council Knights of Columbus. A special thanks to Fr. George Schommer, O.P., Paul Rieger, Chris Nachtrab, and the volunteers from the Catholic Men’s Fellowship!

Into The Breach at St. Gertrude

Abp. Elder Council is joining forces with the Catholic Men’s Fellowship to present the Into the Breach program for Catholic men.

This is a Knights of Columbus developed program and is a call to action for all men to actively engage in the Spiritual Battle that is raging around our families and communities. Some of the topics are Masculinity, Brotherhood, Leadership, Prayer, and Sacramental Life.

This is a 10 part series that starts Saturday, July 10, at 7:30am – 9:00am in the School Cafeteria. The meetings are being scheduled every 2nd and 4th Saturday until Advent.
