St. Gertrude Parish and the KofC Elder Council #1195 are hosting a blood drive on
Saturday, June 04, 2022
8:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
As Hoxworth is experiencing a high level of staffing shortages, the blood drive will be held at the Hoxworth Neighborhood Donor Center 9780 Kenwood Road, Blue Ash OH (by Jimmy John) instead of at St. Gertrude Parish.
Appointments will be reserved for parishioners and friends of St. Gertrude. To schedule an appointment:

If you are unable to donate blood on that date, you can donate anytime using the St. Gertrude group code SEQ during registration.

Spring Pancake Breakfast
A big Elder Council thank you to our own Worthy Brother Mark Holland, and all volunteers, on another wonderful Pancake breakfast!
March Family Rosary Social
Abp. Elder Council hosted another Family Rosary Social at St. Gertrude on March 15, 2022. After praying the Rosary together in the church, everyone moved over to the Parish Center for refreshments and a talk by our Worthy Lecturer, Jonathan Ring.
Blessing of the Ultrasound Machine at Elizabeth New Life Center
On Saturday, February 19, 2022, our Worthy Chaplain, Fr. George Schommer, OP, was joined by Fr. Michael Dosch, OP and the Novices of the St. Joseph Province of the Dominican Order, Ohio State Treasurer Mike Felerski, and parishioners of St. Gertrude, to bless the new ultrasound machine at Elizabeth New Life Center in Forest Park. It was a wonderful event with a good turn out. Once again, Abp. Elder Council wishes to thank the parishioners of St. Gertrude Church for their generosity, the Supreme Council for their matching funds program, and the fantastic people that work at the Center for their dedication in saving lives.
