Abp. Elder Knight, Lay Dominican, and Professor Emeritus of Physics, Dr. Robert Endorf, gave a presentation on Faith and Science at the October Rosary Social. It was a fascinating lecture, and we had a great turnout of about 52 attendees – brother Knights and St. Gertrude Parishioners.

Abp. Elder Council’s 1907 Parade Banner has returned home, newly restored. Under the direction of our Past Grand Knight, Tom Hahn, Chandra Obie Linn, the conservator-in-chief of Obie Textile Conservation and the Associate Textile Conservator at the Cincinnati Art Museum, finished restoration of our old Parade Banner. Brother Knight, John Ring, built a brand new display case to house and protect the banner.
As it dates back to the founding of our council in 1907, this is an important part of our council’s history. The council used to proudly march in parade’s behind this magnificent banner through the streets of Cincinnati.
Sir Knights from local Assemblies joined 4th Degree members from Elder Council to celebrate Corpus Christi at St. Gertrude on June 23rd.
