The K of C Elder Council 1195 graciously thanks the parishioners of St. Gertrude Church for their generous contribution to the Veterans Day Collection. Parishioners donated 18 bags and boxes of personal items, toiletries, stationary products, puzzles, and detergent. They also gave $1,470.00 in cash and checks and $100.00 in gift cards. All items and monies go directly to the veterans in the Cincinnati area, who are most appreciative. Thank you for showing your gratitude
The Elder Council Christmas Party will be on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Ferrari’s Little Italy, beginning with a social at 6:00 pm and dinner at 7:00 pm. After dinner the Council’s distinguished White Elephant Charity Auction will take place, led by our master auctioneer, Brother Jonathan Pearson. The cost is $30.00 per person. On Saturday, December 31st at 1:00 p.m. there will be a live presentation of the Visit of the Three Kings to the Manger at Bethlehem at the Krohn Conservatory. This pageant was started by Western & Southern, The Biedenharn Family and the Cincinnati Chapter of the Knights of Columbus in 1939. This year is the 82nd anniversary of this event.
