Join us for the St. Gertrude Feast Day Solemn Mass at 4:30pm at St. Gerturde Church in Madeira. There will be a wonderful outside torch light procession, led by Knights of our 4th Degree, around our parish grounds with the statue of St. Gertrude, followed by the veneration of her relic.
At 6:30pm dinner will be served featuring Servatii’s pretzel sandwiches, salads, desserts, beer from Narrow Path Brewery in Loveland, tea/coffee, and lemonade; there will be entertainment from the Chardon Polka Band from Chardon, OH. The
Feast Day Celebration is FREE and we hope you will join us for the wonderful novena and Feast Day Celebration.
This Mass will fulfill your weekend Mass obligation.
At the November business meeting, our Grand Knight, Bob Stucker, gave Certificates of Appreciation to a number of our Knights for their service to the Council and our Church.

Thank you worthy brothers for all your hard work and dedication… Vivat Jesus!
Be sure to watch the new episodes of Everyday Heroes:

At the unveiling of the newly restored Parade Banner, during the Business Meeting on July 11, 2019, Worthy Brother Knight John Ring explained how he constructed the cases and the various symbols he incorporated into their design. Many of our brothers asked him to write everything down so that future Knights of Elder Council would know that background.
Note: There are some imperfections and mistakes that intentionally were not fixed as a reminder that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” – Romans 3:23.
In constructing the cases, SK John M. Ring prayed to the Holy Spirit asking for inspiration and guidance. They were finished on May 16, 2019. He installed the restored parade banner in the cases on July 3, 2019.
SK John Ring dedicated his work on the cases to all past, present and future Worthy Brother Knights of the Archbishop Elder Council 1195.
Vivat Jesus!
