Pro-Life Memorial at St. Gertrude Church
Oct. 5, 2019 – Archbishop Elder Knights led parishioners of St. Gertrude install the annual memorial crosses for the babies that have lost to abortion. Thank you to all the Knights, men, women, and children of St. Gertrude Parish that gave their time and strength to give witness to the reality of this tragedy. And, a special thank you to Larry Sendelbach a Knight of Northern Kentucky for his tireless and faithful efforts.

Grand Knight Bob Stucker, Past Grand Knight Tom Hahn, and Chancellor Pete Marcello were on to accept the award and the council thanks them in particular for their work in making this happen. Vivat Jesus!
Elder Council Parade Banner Restoration
Abp. Elder Council’s 1907 Parade Banner has returned home, newly restored. Under the direction of our Past Grand Knight, Tom Hahn, Chandra Obie Linn, the conservator-in-chief of Obie Textile Conservation and the Associate Textile Conservator at the Cincinnati Art Museum, finished restoration of our old Parade Banner. Brother Knight, John Ring, built a brand new display case to house and protect the banner.
As it dates back to the founding of our council in 1907, this is an important part of our council’s history. The council used to proudly march in parade’s behind this magnificent banner through the streets of Cincinnati.
