PGK Tom Hahn reported that there was a good turnout for this year’s Mini-March for Life. The March began at Holy Name Church and processed to the Planned Parenthood facility on Auburn Ave. Despite the cold, the snow, the ice, and a pandemic, many gathered to pray for an end to abortion and pray for mothers, fathers, and their children. Vivat Jesus!
Abp. Elder Council would like to spread the word about some excellent Pro-Life events scheduled for January of 2021.

On Saturday, December 19, Fr. George Schommer, OP (Pastor of St. Gertrude and Chaplain of Abp. Elder Council) blessed the brand new ultrasound machine at Life Forward in Loveland, Ohio. It was a very fine blessing and there were about thirty five people in attendance – St. Gertrude parishioners, Life Forward members, and Knights of Columbus. Our Worthy State Advocate, Mike Felerski, District Deputy, Mark Kosobud, and our Grand Knight, Phil Motz were all in attendance. Thank you again to all of those that participated in our fundraising campaign. Vivat Jesus!
Congratulations to Kevin & Jessica Conlon and their lovely family, parishioners at St. Gertrude Parish, as the winners of the K of C Raffle for Life. They receive a check in the amount of $5,000.00.
The Knights thank Kevin and Jessica and all the other parishioners who purchased tickets, made donations, and/or prayed for the success of this live saving initiative.
