Why Catholic? The reasons you should join the Catholic faith is the following: apostolic succession, the inconsistencies of Protestantism and finally and most importantly the sacraments (Baptism, Penance/Reconciliation, Eucharist, Confirmation, Matrimony, Holy Orders and Anointing of the sick.)
Why should You join the Catholic faith and not another Christian faith?
The last reason, you join a community we call the body of Christ (Catholic Church). A community that is humble and helps each other. They are loving and happy. They are living the path to eternal life. The more you learn the less you want the things of this world, the desire for things seems less and less. You have gotten off the merry go round of materialism and you are now trying to get others to jump off it. It starts with you. Deep down you either question what you always have done and go with God or get what you always got. Please, call your local RCIA program lead. Jesus' ministry on earth was perfect. He was the way, the truth, and the life. The Pascal Mystery is the call to share in the suffering in Christ so we may someday share in His glory.
